PRIMARY ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

About the Position: System Engineer

a) As a System Engineer, You will have to validate and test using STB software as per check list by automated testing.

b) As per requirement, You will have to read functional document, test scenarios and execute test case with team coordination.

c) Applicants will have to track the project requirement and test results as well as during testing, you should be able to generate reporting issues.

d) As per defined timeline, You should be able to fix defects and complete QC testing of software.

e) You should be able to understand the test specifications used in the consumer products like STB, OTT dongle.

f) Applicants should be able to generate and publish test results & test reports regularly to the management.

g) You should be able to coordinate with peer testers and developers to improve the testing processes.

h) Applicants should have at least 1-3 years of experience in Set top Box like DTH, Android, OTT device, Mobile app and software testing.

i) You should have an exposure in automation testing and Python programming language as well as plan and schedule tests using automation testing.

j) Applicants will have to create Python automation scripts as per STB functional requirement.
